Expose yourself to your deepest fear; after that, fear has no power, and the fear of freedom shrinks and vanishes. You are free. ~ Jim Morrison.
“Sadda haq” has been the new sense of the youth since a
while. I still don understand music with the verity, “Best music
comes out from the pain” .Yeah, that’s the new promise from the movie Rock star.
This is nothing to do with Rock star movie here. After watching it for twice,
then I felt lemme talk of some about music too:-).
Neither was I a Jannardhan transformed to Jordan nor did I encounter someone
like that. All that is common is the music making and singing.
I feel life without music is undreamed of. To me and 99% of
the human race, music is an indivisible, requisite part of life. Who created
music for the first time, I know not. But I can surely say that moment changed
the way of life forever.
Sometimes I feel that if Jordan had been content with his
music making in the city clubs, then he would have never been the ROCKSTAR. At
the same time, why should he crave for that heart break? Damn... Not all best
music comes from pain. Whatever... I not speak about it …I am just another
singer like Janardhan .I sing...Better than 99% crowd around... May be cuz learning
carnatic classical music just happened like any other things to me. I was very
passionate and fanatical to learn all I could. From writing to sport to
dramatics to art to graphology; I just wanted to do all I could.
Then came the phase when I had to fore go all my cravings to
achieve academic goals. Two years I found it extremely difficult to detach
myself from my old self that was very high on entropy, not ready to shut it all
up inside a shell. I was at conflict with myself. Music was silently there all
through.
Violins and drums played sorrowful tunes and revolting beats in alternation.

After a throbbing 2
years, there was a grand opening for that boiling passion to be vent out the creative
energy inside me. Those also help me towards light singing at charity shows, @
college events, @ road shows, @ campaigning.

Honestly, I work with limited resources when it comes to
music- from observing those innumerable sources of inspiration. It boils down
to me then. Now that's something to feed on.
Music tagged along.
Saxophones and trumpets all the way!
‘Great music is
that which penetrates the ear with facility and leaves the memory with
difficulty. Magical music never leaves the memory’~~ Sir Thomas Beecham
Chocolate-Zany Sandy's image vividly floats in front of my eyes..and then her voice resonates with "Ye haseen vaadiyaan ye khula aasmaan" Rendition from Roja. "Paradigm Shift" is the word which changes my perception about her and raises the pedestal of her calibre and her Latent Talent.I need to confess, would chat/speak with her with element of Awe and Respect. Kudos and Keep it up Sandy.U Deserve a bow.!!!
ReplyDeleteVery well sung I say! Glad you are back to music, thanks to your music classes! :) - Bharath (Vikas' friend)
